A new Starbucks in Ronkonkoma is now serving customers, but behind the scenes, it represents months of coordination, problem solving, and precision execution by B2K Construction.

That approach is on full display at 3365 Veterans Memorial Highway, where a new 2,200-square-foot drive-thru Starbucks now stands.
From Planning to Progress
Before construction could begin, the team navigated a detailed entitlement process, working closely with Suffolk County and local stakeholders to address covenants and restrictions tied to the site. Through persistence and coordination, B2K Construction secured the approvals needed to move forward.
Once underway, the work extended far beyond the building itself. From site clearing and infrastructure, to landscaping, signage, and roadway improvements along Veterans Memorial Highway, every element was carefully coordinated to ensure the location fit seamlessly within its surroundings.
Keeping Momentum
Like many developments, this one came with its share of challenges, but it was how the team responded that made the difference.
Extended lead times for exterior façade materials had the potential to slow progress. Instead, the team adjusted sequencing and pushed forward with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and site work, ultimately making up nearly a month in the schedule.
Coordination with neighboring Ultimate Care was another key focus. With portions of their parking impacted during construction, B2K Construction worked closely with their team to plan around busy times and minimize disruption, ensuring their operations could continue smoothly.
Delivered with Precision
Construction of the building shell began in May 2025, with turnover to Starbucks completed on October 31, 2025 for their interior build-out. The location officially opened on March 6, 2026, with a ribbon cutton on March 25, 2026.
Strong field leadership, proactive communication, and a solutions-oriented mindset kept everything moving forward, even when adjustments were needed along the way.
