Expanding B2K Development’s Residential Portfolio in Island Park
B2K Development is proud to announce its selection as general contractor for the Vitale Property Project in Island Park, NY. This $56 millions mixed-use residential development represents our first collaboration with Vitale Properties (Developer) and BHC Architects (Architect), and we look forward to bringing our expertise in large-scale residential construction to these exciting new project.
Commitment to Quality and Resilient Design
With construction beginning in March 2025, this project will follow a 24-month construction schedule and feature modern, high-quality housing tailored to meet the needs of the growing community. Designed with long-term sustainability and resilience in mind, the project includes:
- Elevated structures and utilities to prevent flood damage
- Impact-resistant windows for added durability
- An upgraded bulkhead to protect against coastal water levels
“B2K Construction has managed a number of complex development projects over the years. Developers who have not had that level of experience appreciate the challenges of a multidisciplinary project,” said Jon Weiss, Principal at B2K Development, in an interview with LIBN. “Our clients seek a construction management firm that can anticipate the pitfalls, eliminate the obstacles, and adhere to the deadlines and budget involved with such an undertaking. That makes us very attractive to developers new to the process.”
The development will include 60 apartments and 2,000 square feet of commercial space–contributing not only to Long Island’s housing supply, but also to the economic revitalization of Island Park’s waterfront.
Leadership You Can Trust
B2K’s Senior Project Manager, Jason DeLucia, who has been with the company for over 18 years, will oversee construction. His expertise in residential and mixed-use development will ensure the project is delivered efficiently and to the highest industry standards.
B2K Development remains committed to building thoughtfully designed, community-focused developments that enhance Long Island’s housing market.
