
Steven Krieger, Esq., CEO
As a founding partner of B2K Development, Steven Krieger has helped shape the brands, relationships, and communities that define the company. With more than 40 years of industry experience, he brings a keen ability to identify and advance high-potential opportunities.
From obtaining entitlement approvals through development and construction, Steven has negotiated complex joint venture, purchase and sale, acquisition, and loan agreements exceeding $4 billion. He has successfully fast-tracked deals from concept to completion, paving the way to create extraordinary and vibrant residential and commercial developments.
Throughout his career, Steven has built a foundation of trust with partners, lenders and sellers, repositioning properties, negotiating intricate deals, and managing retail office buildings for private and institutional owners. He has also led B2K Development’s foray into the purchasing of notes and mortgages from institutional lenders. Some of his most significant accomplishments include:
- Successfully obtaining the first Industrial Development Agency (IDA) approval for an assisted living community in New York State.
- The procurement of land use approvals and municipal entitlements for over 4,000 units within The Bristal brand.
- Negotiating the entitlements for the construction of over 2,500 housing units in the tri-state area, as well as for credit tenant retailers Lifetime Fitness, QuickChek, Stop & Shop, Advance Auto Parts and TD Bank.
With an enduring commitment to the industry, Steven generously contributes his time, resources, and expertise to a number of leading organizations. He notably served as Former President and Chairman of the Board of the Long Island Builders Institute, and continues to support the industry as a board member of Vision Long Island and an active contributor to The Long Island Housing Partnership.
Beyond his professional involvement, Steven is equally dedicated to causes of personal significance. He co-led the Shooting Stars Foundation in conjunction with the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center for over a decade, and continues to support local non-profit organizations dedicated to the betterment of the community.
Steven graduated cum laude from Tulane University and studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he was a member of the traveling basketball team. He earned his law degree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
