B2K Development Celebrates Ribbon Cutting at Sutton Landing at Patchogue
B2K Development officially marked the opening of its newest 55+ rental community, Sutton Landing at Patchogue, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials, community leaders, members of the development team, and residents.
Located at 910 Sipp Avenue, this $55 million residential community adds 139 thoughtfully designed apartments to the Village of Patchogue.
A Modern Take on 55+ Living
Set on 13.9 acres, Sutton Landing at Patchogue offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with approximately 80 two-bedroom units ranging from 1,060 to 1,109 sq. ft. offered at market rate and an additional 28 two-bedroom apartments offered as affordable housing with reduced rent for households earning up to 65% of the area median income.
Each apartment features an open-concept floor plan with a designer kitchen including Whirlpool stainless steel appliances and Silestone countertops, in-unit washer/dryer, programmable thermostat, and electronic key fob entry.
The community is built with the modern renter in mind — offering an exceptional array of luxury services and amenities that include:
- Resident clubhouse and fitness center
- Resort-style pool and cabana
- Modern sports bar and lounge
- Pickleball and bocce courts
- Pet spa, dog park, and walking trail
- Putting green and playground
- Fire pits, BBQ grills, and picnic areas
- Robust calendar of programming and events
- Professionally managed on-site leasing office
- 24-hour maintenance
“Sutton Landing is a community that not only anticipates the preferences of our tenants, but provides for an extraordinary daily experience,” said David Burman, Principal and President of B2K Development.
Community Support and Local Impact
The ribbon-cutting event highlighted the importance of age-restricted rental communities that support aging in place while maintaining local connections. Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine praised the community, stating, “Sutton Landing allows many residents to stay right here and maintain the sense of community that has always made Long Island a wonderful place to live work, and raise a family.”
Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico added, “At a time when many on Long Island are making a decision to downsize from their single-family homes but wish to remain close to family, community, and the destinations they love, Sutton Landing has become an alternative.”
